Jede Platte des Tisches ist aus einem niedrig legierten Werkzeugstahl gefertigt, der für den Einsatz im Formenbau robust genug ist. Nach dem Schleifen und Bearbeiten der Oberfläche wird jede Platte mit einem QPQ-Nitrierverfahren veredelt, das die Härte, Korrosionsbeständigkeit und Beständigkeit gegen Schweißspritzer verbessert.
Die Platten auf dem Tisch können je nach Anwendung neu positioniert oder entfernt werden; ein patentiertes System zur Plattenpositionierung bedeutet, dass die Abstände der Löcher immer innerhalb der Toleranz liegen, ohne dass eine spezielle Neukalibrierung erforderlich ist.
